I asked where Sensei was staying that night. Although it was called an inn, it was different from an ordinary ryokan. I also found out that it was not the teacher's family who lived there. As I called out to the teachers, they gave a wry smile. I criticized him by saying that it was my habit to say to the elders. I have heard and seen about the Westerners of the time. Sensei talked about his strange behavior, how he was no longer in Kamakura, and other things. Some said it was strange. Finally, I turned to Sensei and said that I thought I had seen him somewhere, but I couldn't remember. At that time, as a young person, I secretly suspected that the other person had the same feelings as I did. And so, in my heart, I expected a reply from Sensei. However, after meditating for a while, Sensei said, ``I don't see anything on your face.
