Sensei would sometimes accompany his wife to concerts and plays. According to my recollection, there were more than two or three occasions when my husband and I went on trips of less than a week. I still have the scrapbook I got from Hakone. When I went to Nikko, I received a letter in the mail containing a leaf of autumn leaves.
