實際父は大丈夫らしかつた。家の中を自由に往來して、息も切れなければ、眩暈も感じなかつた。たゞ顏色丈は普通の人よりも大變惡かつたが、是は又今始まつた症状でもないので、私達は格別それを氣に留めなかつた。

translation

"Actually, my father seemed to be fine." I could move freely around the house and never felt short of breath or dizzy. His complexion was more unusual than that of a normal person, but since it was not a new symptom, we paid no particular attention to it.
