translation
"Everyone was delighted to see my face." I was also delighted to see that the house had become more lively and cheerful than when my father and mother were there. My uncle kicked out the first boy, who occupied the room that had been my room, and put me in there. Since there were quite a few tatami rooms, I asked if it would be all right to leave the room, but my uncle refused, saying that it was his residence.
