Before long, the summer passed and from mid-September we had to attend school work again. Due to our own time constraints, K and I were able to scramble again at the appointed time to enter and exit. There were about three times a week when I returned later than K, but no matter how many times I returned, I never saw the daughter's shadow in K's room.
