兄は必竟聞いても解らないと云ふのであつた。私から見ればなにも無理に先生を兄に理解して貰ふ必要はなかつた。けれども腹は立つた。又例の兄らしい所が出て來たと思つた。

translation

My brother said that he would not understand even if I asked. From my point of view, there was no need to force my brother to understand Sensei. But it made me angry. Again, I thought that I had come across something that seemed like my older brother.
