「なにね、自分で死ぬ/\つて云ふ人に死んだ試はないんだから安心だよ。御父さんなんぞも、死ぬ死ぬつて云ひながら、是から先まだ何年生きなさるか分るまいよ。夫よりか默つてる丈夫の人の方が劒呑さ」

translation

"What, you don't have to worry about people who say they'll die by themselves, so I'm relieved. Even though your father says he's going to die, I don't know how many more years he'll live from now on." Yo, a quiet, sturdy person is better at swallowing than a husband.”
